The following is a message that was sent to us by Pranvera Dervishaj of Albania, which tells the story of two children who are in need of help.

Dear friends,

Today I write to you not simply with a request — but with a cry from two little children whose lives are caught in deep poverty and silent suffering.
‍
In the small northern village of Klos , two precious little ones, Alteo (just 3 years old) and baby Aurora (barely 1 year old), are living in conditions that break the heart of anyone who sees them.

When our team stepped into their home, we felt a quiet ache —because what we saw was not a place where little children should ever grow.

The floor was cold and muddy.
The walls were cracked and crumbling.
The air was damp and freezing.
Their tiny hands and feet were cold.
Their clothing was thin, old, and not enough for winter.

These are little children — meant to laugh, to play, to feel safe, to be held in warmth — yet they are growing up surrounded by hardship beyond their understanding.

And in that moment, as we looked at their faces, one truth overwhelmed us:

They are too little to protect themselves.
They are too little to survive without help.
They are too little to be left in the cold.
‍
The Bible speaks with such gentleness about little ones:
‍
“He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart.” — Isaiah 40:11
“Whoever receives one little child in My name receives Me.” — Matthew 18:5

Dear friends,

Jesus does not overlook the little ones.

And neither can we.

We are asking for help to give Alteo and baby Aurora the simple things every child deserves:

a warm blanket
a soft bed
shoes that fit
clothes that protect
food that nourishes
a home that is safe

These are small things for us…but for a little child, they mean the world.
‍
Your kindness can give warmth to a child who sleeps cold.
Your love can give food to a child who goes to bed hungry.
Your generosity can give hope to a baby whose future is still unwritten.

Please, if the Lord touches your heart, help us lift these little ones into safety and dignity.

They cannot ask for help —
but we can ask on their behalf.
